Advertising Placement Refund Policy

1. What You're Paying For

When you purchase an advertising placement with ON Real Estate, you are buying a non-exclusive carousel slot on an ON Real Estate area page. You pay:

a flat advertising placement fee — $0.60 CAD per single-family dwelling, per year, for the area(s) your slot appears on; plus
a one-time $495 CAD setup fee, which covers placing your supplied listing details onto the advertising surface.

Applicable HST (13%) is added (ON HST registration number 737679167RT0001). Payment is made by credit card.

There is no approval or eligibility gate: once you purchase a placement and supply your listing details, your listing is built and goes live. Your payment buys advertising visibility — it is not an exclusive territory, a licence, or a franchise, and it does not guarantee leads, enquiries, rankings, closed transactions, or income. These terms are governed by this policy and the Advertiser Placement Agreement.

2. Refund Schedule

Scenario	Refund
Before your listing goes live — you cancel for any reason	Full refund (100%), including the setup fee, with no deduction. ON absorbs any card-processing cost.
ON fails to build or publish your listing (through ON's fault)	Full or pro-rated refund, including the setup fee.
After your listing goes live — you cancel	The placement is a paid annual advertising subscription. The $495 setup fee is earned (non-refundable) once your listing is built and live. The annual placement fee is non-refundable for the paid term, except where ON fails to deliver (above).
Renewal term (Year 2 and beyond)	You may decline renewal before the renewed term begins at no charge. Once the renewed term begins, the renewal is non-refundable, subject to the "ON fails to deliver" exception.

Any applicable HST is refunded along with any refunded fee.

3. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are issued to the original credit card used for payment.
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days (allow 1–2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement).
Any applicable HST is refunded along with the fee.
To request a refund, contact ON at support@onrealestate.ca, which will confirm your eligibility against this policy.

4. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of requesting a refund through ON, your listing may be paused while the dispute is resolved.

5. Acknowledgement

This policy is presented to you and must be acknowledged before payment is made.
